Training is essential to help ensure the safety of your employees when they drive on the job. This workshop explains methods you can use to help them build the driving knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviours they need.

Owners, managers, and health and safety representatives from landscaping firms are invited to attend the second 75-minute online session, which will include presentations and guidance, as well as opportunities to discuss road safety challenges and solutions tailored to the industry. The second session will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on  January 22.

This workshop shows you how to use our SkillCheck tool to assess employee driving skills and behaviours. It helps you conduct an assessment that helps identify driving skill gaps so you can take steps to improve them. You’ll learn how to use the free SkillCheck tool to record and document driving assessments, behaviours and characteristics to look for when conducting assessments and how to apply what you’ve learned in your workplace.

BUILDEX Vancouver conference is where colleagues and peers from the architecture, interior design, construction, engineering, property management and homebuilding & renovation professions will discuss critical themes, challenges, developments, and innovations impacting the Western Canada's built environment. Road Safety at Work representatives will be on site and participating in the trade show in booth 1135.

Employees who drive their own vehicle for work face the same risks as those driving company vehicles. No matter who owns the vehicle, employers, supervisors, and drivers need to work together to meet safety requirements and prevent crashes.

The final session will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on March 19.
